Keyboard Shortcuts

The shortcuts below work globally throughout Disk Recon. Additional shortcuts are shown next to their menu items — open any menu to see what is available in the current context.

View

• Ctrl-T : Show/Hide Folder Tree
• Ctrl-F : Show/Hide File Preview
• Ctrl-I : Show/Hide Image Preview

Display units

• Ctrl-B : Show sizes in B
• Ctrl-K : Show sizes in KB
• Ctrl-M : Show sizes in MB
• Ctrl-G : Show sizes in GB

Export

• Ctrl-E : Export to MS Excel
• Ctrl-H : Export to HTML report

Scan Control

• F5 : Start scan
• Escape : Stop / abort current scan

General

• F1 : Show Helpfile
• Del : Delete marked files (in Duplicate Files and Duplicate Folders views)
• Alt-F4 : Exit Disk Recon

In Result Panels

• Up/Down : Select Previous/Next Line
• PgUp : Scroll page up
• PgDn : Scroll Page Down
• Home : Go to first Line
• End : Go to last Line
• Enter : Open selected file in its default application
