Disk Recon 14.1
Folder Tree
The Folder Tree is a navigation panel on the left side of the Disk Recon window. It shows the full folder hierarchy of your drives so you can quickly browse to and select the folder you want to scan — without having to type a path manually.
Selecting a Start Folder
Click any folder in the tree to set it as the start folder for your next scan. The selected folder is immediately reflected in the Scan Folder field in the Control Panel, even if the Control Panel tab is not currently visible.
Selecting Multiple Folders
To scan more than one folder at the same time, hold Ctrl while clicking each additional folder. Each Ctrl-click adds the selected folder to the list of start folders in the Control Panel. You can also use the multiple-folder button in the Control Panel to manage the list with a dedicated dialog.
Root Options
The tree root can be set to show either the Desktop (which includes libraries, network locations, and drives) or just the Drives list for a simpler, storage-focused view. Change this in Options.
Showing and Hiding
The Folder Tree is optional. Toggle it on or off with Ctrl-T, the toolbar button, or the View menu. Hiding it gives the result panel more horizontal space, which is useful on smaller screens.
