Tools

Besides the general font preview and management functionality of X-Fonter, a few extra functionalities have been built into the package.

Currently there are six items :

- Font Registry Check : Shows registry details and allows you to fix errors.
- Font Renamer : Allows you to give your fonts a meaningful name.
- Duplicate Font Search : Finds duplicate fonts and lets you delete them.
- Open Control Panel : Opens the windows control panel so you have easy access to the fonts section.
- Font Registry : Opens the registry editor in the truetype/opentype font section.
- Font Registry (Postscript) : Opens the registry editor in the postscript font section.

You can find all these commands under the 'Tools' menu of the menubar.

Editing the font registry is only recommended for advanced windows users.
