What is Texefex

You probably already guessed that 'Texefex' stands for 'Text Effects'. And this is exactly what the program is all about. Texefex allows you to apply some cool effects (rainbow colors, custom color gradients) to your text so that it really grabs the attention of whoever is reading the text.

Whatever you do in Texefex, the outcome is always characters and colors.

But there are actually three ways in which you can work with Texefex.

1. Text Coloring

First you can type in (or copy/paste) a specific text and then let Texefex apply colors to this text. The text is not altered in any way, just the formatting.

2. Image Conversion

Second, you can provide a picture and then Texefex will generate both the text and the color formatting.

3. Font Conversion

And thirdly you can render a piece of text in a specific font and convert this to lines of ASCII text depicting that specific text.

Output

The formatted text can be directly copied into any program that accepts RTF (Rich Text Formatting) text. But additionally, Texefex can also convert the formatted text into HTML or BBCode (forums) so you can easily use your nicely formatted text on the internet as well.
