Config Files

At some point you might have created a nice effect for a piece of text on your website and you probably want to use it again later for some other webpages.

To help you with these kind of situations, you can save the settings in Texefex to a configuration file. This file stores all the settings that have an effect on how the current color effect is generated. These config files have a .tfx extension.

Saving a configuration file can be done by selecting the "Save Config File" command in the "File" menu. A Save dialog will ask you to enter the filename you want to use. This way you can store as many configurations as you want.

To retrieve the settings from a configuration file you just need to load this file again ("Open Config File" in the "File" menu).

The "Reopen Config File" menu item shows you a list of the previously used config files so you can easily switch between different settings.
