- No installer: unzip and run. No changes to the system registry.
- User data: settings are stored within the application folder (keep the folder writable).
- Limitations: reduced shell integration; create your own shortcuts if desired.
- Uninstall: close the app and delete the folder to remove it completely.

How to Choose the Right Download
- Most users: Latest Release (64-bit).
- Legacy hardware/OS: Latest Release (32-bit) or an Older Release if required.
- Testing new features: Beta Release (provide feedback to help us improve).
- No admin rights / USB use: Portable Version.
Install & Upgrade Notes
- Download the appropriate build for your system (32/64-bit).
- Close any running Blacksun Software applications.
- Run the installer and follow the prompts (administrator rights may be required).
- After upgrade, verify your settings and re-enable any integrations if prompted.
If SmartScreen warns about a new version, click More info → Run anyway after confirming the publisher is Blacksun Software.
Verify Downloads
- Digital signature: Right-click the file → Properties → Digital Signatures and confirm the signer is Blacksun Software.
- Checksum (optional): Open Command Prompt and run:
certutil -hashfile "filename.exe" SHA256then compare with the SHA-256 shown next to the download.
